This page explains what cookies and similar technical tools we use on the ForestBit website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website function properly, protect forms, and ensure secure content delivery.
2. What cookies we use
We use two categories of cookies on this website:
- Strictly necessary technical cookies – for secure website operation, protection against bots and abuse, proper content delivery, and contact form functionality. They are always set because the website cannot work properly without them.
- Marketing cookies (Google Ads) – for conversion measurement, i.e. to find out whether a visitor came from our Google Ads campaign and then contacted us. They are set only with your consent.
We do not use analytics cookies or cookies for behavioural profiling.
3. Strictly necessary technical cookies
Depending on the current hosting and security configuration, the website may use the following technical cookies or similar identifiers:

4. Marketing cookies (consent only)
If you choose “Allow” in the cookie bar, the Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads is loaded and the following cookies may be set:

If you do not consent, the Google tag is not loaded at all and none of these cookies are set. If the website's or Google's technical configuration changes, the exact list of cookies may change as well. We will update this page accordingly.
5. Legal basis
We use strictly necessary technical cookies because they are necessary for the proper functioning, security, and delivery of the website (Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications). Where personal data are processed in connection with them, we rely on our legitimate interest in the secure and proper operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use marketing cookies only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is voluntary, declining it does not affect your use of the website, and you can withdraw it at any time.
6. Third-party cookies
The following third-party services are used in connection with the operation of the website:
- Cloudflare – security and network services,
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Ads) – conversion measurement for advertising campaigns, only with your consent. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's advertising policies for more information,
- where applicable, other technical services related to hosting or content delivery.
7. How you can manage cookies
You can give or withdraw consent to marketing cookies at any time with the “Change cookie settings” button at the top of this page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the marketing cookies and the Google tag is not loaded on later visits.
You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may result in:
- limited website functionality,
- contact form submission issues,
- more frequent security challenges or blocked requests.
